We have had an extraordinary 2018, combining the Annual General Meeting along with celebrating 110 years of Scouting. The Annual General Meeting is always a great occasion for parents to nominate members of the Executive Committee, volunteer their services and at this event, come to celebrate 1st Purleys’ 110th birthday. We had the honour of Steve French – District Commissioner, attend as our guest speaker.
An awards presentation was held for the children who achieved their Bronze, Silver and Gold Chief Scouts’ Awards since the last Annual General Meeting held in 2017. The recipients of the Chief Scouts’ Awards are listed on the Roll of honour 2017-2018 document.
After the presentations, we held a BBQ along with cakes, drinks and fun activities for all.
